What To Know About This Production
Come join the cast of Broadway Family Favorites! This beloved musical variety show returns, directed by Valaura Arnold with choreography by Jessica Yergensen. In this review style production there will be selections for some of Broadways most memorable shows; past and present with a narrative written around it. It is a chance for your whole family to be on stage together. Group numbers and featured numbers will be selected based upon the talent that auditions. Get ready for a summer of fun filled with music and dancing under the stars.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 27th at American Preparatory Academy, Campus 3 (431 W 11915 S, Draper, UT 84020) in the upstairs dance and choir rooms. All ages are encouraged to come prepared to sing a Broadway or Disney verse and chorus. An accompanist will be provided. (Minus tracks from your device are acceptable.)
9:00 - 10:00 AM — Children aged 11 and under (No age limits when alongside a parent; children 12 and under need a guardian in the show with them)
10:00 - 11:00 AM — Women age 18 and older
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM — Men age 18 and older
12:00 - 1:00 PM — Teens age 12-17
1:30 - 3:00 PM — Callbacks (by invitation only)
If you are unable to attend auditions, video submissions are allowed. Note that in-person auditions will have precedent. Submit a video singing two differing song styles, save them to YouTube (private or otherwise), and email that link to the producer by 8:00 PM on April 26th.
The Cast Meeting and First Rehearsal will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 10:00 AM. A detailed rehearsal calendar will be fORTHCOMING.
Date and Time
The show will be held August 16, 17, 19, 23 and 24. 8pm at the Draper Amphitheater. Tech dates: Aug 5-8, 12-15 (6-10PM)
cast fee

INCLEMENT WEATHER
The event will be held in snow, rain, or shine. However, it may be canceled or postponed due to severe weather. Check this webpage for current information.
