About The Studio Menlo Drama US
At Menlo Drama in the Upper School, we believe theater is about the messy, joyful process of discovery. We value trust, curiosity, and the courage to share bold ideas — even the bad ones — because that’s how the good ones emerge. Every rehearsal is a conversation, not a dictation, and the art lives in the back-and-forth. We acknowledge that making theater is a privilege — we get to sit alongside galloping imaginations, endure the torturous moments, delight in the constant pleasures, and make something together. Menlo Drama is a place where students lead, ideas collide, and theater is created in community.
Our season typically includes three mainstage productions, and this year we'll be adding a workshop reading of a student-written musical.
