What To Expect At Auditions

Auditions will take place on Tuesday, August 26th and Tuesday, September 2nd starting at 6:00pm at the Milburn Stone Theatre.

Auditions will be held in The Technology Center (Building D) in the Amphitheatre – Room 106. The Technology Center (Building D) is located on the Cecil College Campus, which is at One Seahawk Dr. North East, MD 21901. Those submitting a video to audition have until Monday, September 1st at 11:59pm and can do so via Cast98. In person auditions are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Callbacks will be held on Thursday, September 4th from 6-10pm, Callbacks will begin with a dance call. Callback notifications will be sent out by Wednesday, September 5th by 10am.

An accompanist will be provided so please bring sheet music for the accompanist to play. Performing with an accompanist is strongly preferred, but you may provide tracks if you do not have sheet music.

Please note: Amplification will not be provided and playing backing tracks off a cell phone (without proper additional amplification) is strongly discouraged.

Rehearsal will begin in early September. Rehearsals will be based on both performer and production staff availability, so please submit all known conflicts at the time of auditions. The Milburn Stone Theatre traditionally rehearses between 2 to 4 times a week.

Please note: Cecil College will be closed November 26th through November 30th in observation of Thanksgiving

Tech week will be held Monday, November 24th and Tuesday, November 25th, then the college will be closed from November 26th through 30th for Thanksgiving Break. Tech will resume on Monday, December 1st and will continue through Thursday, December 4th, no conflicts will be accepted for these tech dates.

Performances for will begin on Friday, December 5th with performances on December 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th & 14th. There will be six performances in total with Friday evening performances taking place at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees taking place at 2:00pm. There is the possibly of evening performances being added on Saturday, December 6th and Saturday, December 13th and a daytime school performance on Friday, December 12th. These dates will be confirmed a month before opening (Wednesday, November 6th.)

Please note: The Milburn Stone Theatre is a community Theatre on a college campus, our productions are open to the entire community, not just Cecil College Students, Faculty and Staff. This production is non-paid/non-union.

All roles are available, ages listed are ranges and not exact.   • The Artful Dodger - Fagin's brightest pupil - “an undersized 16.” Gender: Male | Age: 14 to 18 Vocal range top: E5 | Vocal range bottom: A3
