What To Expect At Auditions

EXPECTATIONS
​YOU MUST fill in as much as possible ON CAST98.com, choose Enter Stage Right as your Studio, and register an audition time to help us cast you. FILL OUT ALL CONTACT AND SCHEDULE CONFLICTS ON CAST98 This should be free to use! You should NEVER have to enter a card number!

Be courteous: If you're feeling under the weather, please wear your MASK. Follow PHYSICAL DISTANCING rules. Use provided SANITIZERs upon building entry. Reschedule if you know yourself to be contagious.

~If you're unable to register through our Cast98 site, you'll need to arrange a time by texting 810-334-6415, even if it's last minute, we'll need to plan a space for you.

~Come prepared with your favorite monologues & music to present your best self to the audition panel. These can be from the show you're auditioning for or from something else that you feel strongly represents your range.
-Preference is a 60 second comedy, and a 60 second dramatic.
-If auditioning for Shakespeare, one or both should be Shakespearean.
-60 seconds of music if so inclined or if you're interested in a part that requires singing.
-Choosing a song that shows your range from the show you're auditioning for will give the audition panel the best idea of placement.

~Time with audition panel is limited to 5 minutes, 10 minutes if auditioning for a musical. We typically have a lot of people to see so we need to respect the schedule to give everyone their shot.

~Build your profile on Cast98.com
- It's free to you and gives us quick access to your headshot, resume, and conflict schedule after you've gone. YOU MUST fill in as much as possible to help us cast you We also send callback information and updates through this system and will be using it through the rehearsal timeframe, so you must share your profile with us in order to be notified. If you struggle with technology, text us with your preferred time slot, then come early and we’ll help you build your profile while you wait for your audition.

~If you wish to audition, but cannot make audition dates, please submit a video audition and fill out EVERY possible piece on your Cast98 profile. It is much more difficult to cast you, especially if you cannot make callbacks for us to see you with other auditioners, but if a video is needed, please submit through cast98 or through the ESR Facebook Messenger.
