What To Know About This Production

ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

Auditions For Mamma Mia!

What To Expect At Auditions

All auditionees will be asked to sing a song from the show, and participate in the dance calls.

AUDITION DETAILS:

Saturday, April 9th. 9 AM - 1 PM.

  • Sign up for a one-hour block to audition. There is a limit of 12 people in each block.
  • Add any conflicts between April 15 - July 17 to your conflict calendar in your Cast98 profile.
  • Sing one of the song selections available HERE.
  • Perform scene sides as assigned onsite.

Dance Calls:

  • Groups 1 & 2, return to venue at 2:00 - 3:30 PM.
  • Groups 3 & 4, return to venue at 3:30 - 5:00 PM.

Auditions by appointment only (if unable to attend morning slots): 5 - 6 PM (email Adrienne adzimny@hotmail.com)

Call Back Auditions: Sunday, April 10th, 1 - 5 PM

Monday (4/11) from 6-8pm we will have a limited Make-Up audition time. You must contact Adrienne to arrange to be allowed to audition at this time. We hope see the majority of our cast on Saturday/Sunday.

The addition of this make-up audition time may cause a need for further call back times. Please be sure your Cast98 Conflict calendar is up to date with any conflicts for evenings during the week of 4/11-4/15 so we can call back as needed.

CREW ONLY: Please create a Cast98 profile including Conflict Calendar. Indicate your experience and crew roles you are interested in. Sign up for a "CREW ONLY" audition slot in Cast98. Bring your Cast/Crew Agreement and Vaccine Verification or Exemption request to the MPAC during that "CREW ONLY" audition slot on Saturday or Sunday.

AUDITION FORMS:

  1. Cast/Crew Agreement: Print, sign, and bring with you to audition or fill out at auditions.
  2. Interested cast and crew must provide one of the following at audition check-in:
  • Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination (includes the booster shot). This can be shown in the form of signed vaccination card or electronic record. VMT staff will verify and check it off as you sign in – we will not need to keep a copy of your personal health records.
  • A completed medical or religious exemption application form. Exemption requests will be reviewed by the show Producer, Director, and the VMT Executive Committee.  Forms available here:

We reserve the right to double-cast any role, and by accepting a role you are agreeing to that.

While the Cast98 platform mentions video submissions, we will not be accepting any video submissions for this show. If you can not attend these schedule auditions, we cannot guarantee we will have another opportunity for you to audition but we would be happy to talk with you.
