Juneteenth is a celebration of community, and progressing toward a more perfect Union. It is a celebration of our American Family and a fundamental part of American History. This powerful story featuring a new script by Dr. Richelle Gunter expands upon the history of Gen. Grangerβs delivery of Executive Order #3 at Galveston, TX when Union Troops came to proclaim Freedom to all formerly enslaved people. It highlights the challenges in spreading the message and the enforcement of the law. Non-Union, Unpaid Production. Play Length approx 30mins. Directed by Stephen Lyons
