Karen Foster - Mid sixties, Caucasian, a traditional American baby boomer housewife.
Alice Foster - Gen Y, the oldest daughter of Sandy and Karen. Pretty, well put-together, the all-American girl next door, and a housewife.
Jeremy Foster - Gen Y, the only son of the Foster family. Charming and an all-around nice guy.
Rachel Foster - Gen Y, serious and successful. A full-time lawyer with no room for nonsense.
Maggie Foster - The unexpected fourth child of the Foster family. Very Millennial, whip-smart, and brimming with attitude.
