We are the Panther Players! Founded in the spring of 2024, our theatre department has quickly become a shining star in the community, showcasing the incredible talent of our students. From our debut production of Annie to the darkly whimsical Little Shop of Horrors and the heartwarming Southern Fried Funeral—which we performed at the historic Haynes Theatre— and ojr more recent production of Shrek, our productions have been full of energy, creativity, and dedication.
In addition to our mainstage shows, we are proud to take part in the annual Poultry Festival, bringing the joy of theatre to audiences all around our town. The Panther Players have steadily grown, with our department continuing to expand and thrive as we reintroduce district-wide musicals.
Our goal is simple: to foster and nurture the blossoming talent of Batesburg-Leesville, guiding our students from their first steps on our theatre stage all the way to walking across the graduation stage. The Panther Players are more than just a theatre group; we are a tightly-knit family, and we’re excited to see where our passion for the arts takes us next!
