The Theatre of Gadsden is a nonprofit community theatre located in Gadsden, Alabama. Its home is located at the historic Ritz Theatre on Wall Street. We come from a strong and proud history of community theatre in Etowah County and can trace the roots of our organization to the Market Lane Theatre, where the first show was produced in the barn of the Elliot Estate in the year 1930. The Theatre of Gadsden currently produces 5 shows per year, plus a number of special events.
