Through stage productions, other performance events/experiences, podcasts, community initiatives and more, L!VE POET!C is aimed at disrupting worlds with words, compassion, humanity and love as it provides a soundtrack for inspiration-seekers to live out their own poetry.
L!VE POET!C is the brainchild of Phoenix native Leah Marché. A longtime advocate and participant with the arts and culture landscape of the Valley of the Sun, Leah is a co-founder of BlackPoet Ventures and Storyscope and co-produces JAZZmeetsPOETRY, a series at The Nash Jazz Club. Listed among the Phoenix New Times' 100 Creatives, Leah is founder of Black Horizons Festival, Phoenix Porchfest and Bad&Bijou Cinema series.
Leah has performed with BlackPoet Ventures, Black Theatre Troupe and presented at events such as: Global Stilt Congress; The Whole Story; Scottsdale Arts' Canal Convergence; Phoenix Art Museum Local Opener; TEDx Phoenix/Scottsdale; Ignite Phoenix; Arizona Storytellers Project; GreenBiz Forum; and Arts & Business Council of Phoenix.
