What To Know About This Production
A community theatre groups is putting on a production of "Little Red- the Musical" when tragedy strikes right before the show is about to start. The lead actress is found dead in her dressing room - the apparent victim of being poisoned! The director cancels the show and the investigation begins.
The company will interact with the audience providing alibis and throwing suspicion on everyone else involved in the production. Actors auditioning MUST be comfortable with interacting directly with audience members and slight improvisation. Through rehearsals, we will develop the story and characters so that those who aren't as comfortable improvising will have a good sense of what to say and how to act. Remember, improvised just means there's no formal script written down, not having to make up everything in the moment.
Shows will be one hour in length with multiple shows through the course of the night/afternoon. Casts will rotate with different characters for each show (so- no one is "doubling" and playing the same role as someone else - the characters will be specific to each actor).
