What To Know About This Production
DR. SEUSS’S THE CAT IN THE HAT has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world.
In this lively, engaging adaptation, not a word has been touched or added to Dr. Seuss' classic, ensuring that anyone who's read the story will find themselves transported into the world they've always imagined. There are however, fun-filled physically comic bits that embellish some of the more silly capers caused by The Cat and his “assistants.” The show has lots of movement and “clowning.” From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat that they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and the craziest of ideas, he is certainly loads of fun. He turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure... but what will mom find when she gets home...?
