Professor LeRoy Villanueva has performed worldwide with leading opera companies in San Francisco, Houston, Geneva, Paris, and beyond, and with orchestras including the LA Philharmonic, Tokyo Symphony, and Suisse Romande. A Metropolitan Opera National Council winner, he has earned top honors from NATS, the National Opera Association, and the Richard Tucker Foundation. He has toured internationally in both opera and musical theater, appeared in premieres at Paris Opera and the Châtelet, and recorded for Nuova Era and Erato. As a librettist, he has created educational works for LA Opera. He teaches at Chapman University and directs the Musical Theater Workshop at Pasadena City College.
