What To Know About This Production

Saltwater Performing Arts hopes to continue it's regularly scheduled Mainstage production of Little Shop of Horrors scheduled for late September/early October with modifications for cast, crew, and audience members in order to maintain recommended safety guidelines.

Auditions For Little Shop of Horrors

What To Expect At Auditions

Saltwater Performing Arts plans to produce the ever-popular, Little Shop of Horrors, in September as planned. This show has a small cast, and although we typically allow large ensembles, we will NOT do so at this time in an effort to work within social distancing perimeters. (We will however, double cast the show as usual and hold multiple performances.) If you want to be in the production, please put your best foot forward in your ONLINE AUDITION!

Step 1) Complete the online audition form located below.

Step 2) Complete an video audition that includes:

  • Slate introducing yourself & stating the role you are interested in
  • 30-45 second A Cappella song ~ preferably musical theatre
  • 30 second monologue of your choosing
  • Note: Dress professionally, record in quiet surroundings, hold your phone horizontally
  • Tech Applicant Video Note: Please slate and describe your level of technical skill and why you are interested in this production. (No song or monologue needed)

Step 3) Use WeTransfer.com (this is a free large file email service and there is no account required) to email your audition video to mainstage@saltwaterpac.org by 5pm EST on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Please label as Subject: Little Shop Audition for [Your Name]. Note: Failure to follow these directions may result in us not receiving your tape! Please follow directions.

Submit questions by separate email to info@saltwaterpac.org or call the Box Office at 912-510-9700. No late entries will be accepted.
